The humid weather in Canada’s Capital is bringing a risk of severe thunderstorms to town. Environment Canada has issued a Yellow-Level Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Ottawa, saying conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms. Those storms may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail, and heavy rain. Doug Gillham, a meteorologist with The Weather Network, delivers the latest developments.
