Gavin McKenna was the first Indigenous player from Canada to be the number one NHL draft pick in nearly 50 years. The Tr'ondëk Hwëch'in citizen from Whitehorse has made efforts to represent his culture on the world stage.

Police in Hamilton, Ont., say they arrested a youth in connection with a stolen vehicle investigation after finding a telltale fast-food restaurant receipt in the car.
