Canadian government proposing ‘massive’ increase AI data centre capacity

Canada currently has about 337 megawatts of AI data centre capacity, and there are more than 20 gigawatts, or 20,000 megawatts in projects that are "under planning or development."

In a social media post on Sunday, the County of Vermilion River said no injuries had been reported to officials, and that the Alberta Emergency Management Agency and the Northern Tornadoes Project are investigating.
