Dozens of public comments on Centretown development missed due to glitch, city says

Ottawa's planning and housing committee has decided against reopening public consultations on a controversial highrise development in Centretown, despite comments from dozens of residents going unnoticed until after the application was approved.
Since a ferocious storm deluged Ottawa on Canada Day, flooding thousands of basements, some residents have discovered that their home insurance policies don't cover damage caused by groundwater.
