OCDSB now cites student safety and 'political activism' as reasons for sitting out Pride

The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board is shifting its explanation for why it isn’t marching in this summer’s Capital Pride parade, saying two years of "political activism and unplanned disruptions" have triggered worries about student safety. Parade organizers say the event will be safe and secure.
