U.K. man sentenced to 3.5 years for death of Owen Sound, Ont., restaurant owner

A British man who admitted to fatally assaulting an Ontario restaurant owner during a dispute over an unpaid bill has been sentenced to 3½ years in prison.

Police are ramping up efforts to find a missing 11-year-old Calgary boy. Parker, who is neurodivergent and non-verbal, was reported missing last Thursday. Police are urging residents to check their yards and sheds and for real estate agents and landlords to check empty homes.
