Man who took Hamilton bus on joy ride accepts longer jail sentence to get mental health treatment

The man who took a Hamilton city bus on a joy ride — with passengers still on board — is serving nine-months in jail. Though the Crown asked for a lower sentence, the man agreed to serve an extra month so he could get into a Brockville, Ont., treatment facility the judge recommended.
