Evacuation alert issued in East Kootenay region as another B.C. wildfire burns out of control

With the arrival of mosquito season, health officials are reminding residents to protect themselves against West Nile virus. While most people experience flu-like symptoms or no symptoms at all, some people do experience severe illness, or death. Residents whose lives have been impacted by the virus believe there should be more public awareness.
