A Court of Quebec judge in Montreal has found fashion mogul Peter Nygard guilty of sexual assault and forcible confinement after he accepted a plea deal and didn't present evidence in his defence.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have laid five charges including attempted murder against a 40-year-old suspect following a violent incident in Arnprior on Tuesday night.
