Toronto festival organizers call for accountability in shooting, threaten to pull plug on event

The group that hosts Salsa on St. Clair is threatening to pull the plug on the festival unless it sees accountability from the City of Toronto and its police force in relation to a shooting that took place Saturday.
Despite all the trade-war rhetoric and “51st state” comments from the White House, Americans on the whole still have positive feelings toward their neighbours to the north. But from this side of the border, it’s a different picture. A poll by Canada’s Angus Reid asked people from both countries about their perceptions of the other.
