As northern Ontario communities prepare for possible wildfire evacuations, province asks Ottawa for help

As dozens of wildfires burn out of control in northern Ontario, several communities have already started evacuations or are considering them. The province is asking the federal government to ensure aircraft and crews could be deployed in 24 hours or less in case the province needs assistance.
OC Transpo says all O-Train Line 1 stations and platforms between St-Laurent and Blair stations are open after the service finalized inspection and repair of the system's damaged overhead wires. Read More
