The City of Ottawa has approved a number of flood relief measures, while the Ford government still hasn’t released details on DRAO coverage. We are officially 2 weeks into the flood recovery efforts. How has our local government reacted to this weather event? What changes need to happen so we are better prepared to handle the next one? Police are ramping up efforts to find a missing 11-year-old Calgary boy. Parker, who is neurodivergent and non-verbal, was reported missing last Thursday. Police are urging residents to check their yards and sheds and for real estate agents and landlords to check empty homes.
