The premier held his first wildfire briefing in Toronto on Friday morning, promising his government would spare no expense trying to keep flames at bay across the north.

We are starting to gather a bigger picture of the LRT West Extension, and the damage that was done during the Canada Day downpour. OC Transpo says it could delay a full opening until 2027. Richard Holder, who overlooks the City of Ottawa’s Rail Construction Program, says the damage was so severe between Moodie and New Orchard that OC Transpo isn’t ruling out the possibility of having to rip up some of the tracks.
