139 wildfires now actively burning across northwestern Ontario

There are 139 wildfires burning across northwestern Ontario as of Saturday afternoon, provincial authorities confirmed. Fifty fires were burning in the northeast region, bringing the total wildfire count across northern Ontario down to 189.
