Prince Edward Island has released a new provincial alcohol strategy aimed at reducing illness and harms linked to drinking, and experts say it puts the province ahead of much of the country.

Police are ramping up efforts to find a missing 11-year-old Calgary boy. Parker, who is neurodivergent and non-verbal, was reported missing last Thursday. Police are urging residents to check their yards and sheds and for real estate agents and landlords to check empty homes.
