Algonquin chiefs upset with Hydro-Québec compensation talks

Chiefs of four Algonquin First Nations are upset with what they see as Hydro-Québec's apparent disinterest in settling a compensation claim for damming a key watershed over the decades.
There isn't much left of the RCMP detachment in Morse, Sask., after a hydrant failed during efforts to fight a fire on Sunday. Local farmers and Hutterite colonies offered support to finally extinguish the blaze.
