Lawyers to present arguments in trial of Montreal man accused of killing daughter in New York

Lawyers are expected to make their opening arguments this morning in the trial of a man accused of killing his nine-year-old daughter, Melina Frattolin, in 2025 during a trip to New York.
The province says it has hired more than 4,700 health-care workers since October of 2023, and that almost 1,500 of the new additions are nurses.
