If you were jarred by a tornado warning on your mobile phone around 4:10 p.m. Tuesday, you weren't alone — more than one million people in a swath of eastern Ontario stretching from Arnprior to Hawkesbury and encompassing Ottawa got one, too.
Highway 401 was closed in both directions Wednesday night near Gananoque, Ont., following a collision involving several vehicles, according to Ontario Provincial Police.
