New data from the Ottawa Police Service shows a spike in charges for shoplifting and theft, with Downtown Ottawa serving as the focal point. And if you work at a grocery store, or at the LCBO, you might be the primary target. Joining us in Hour 2 is John Mills, a Downtown Ottawa resident who has noticed a spike in thefts over the last few weeks. Meantime, a drop-in centre in Sandy Hill is relocating. That would be Centre 454, which is currently located on King Edward Avenue. Kristy Cameron checks in with Shauna Marie-Young, the Executive Director of Belong Ottawa. Highway 401 was closed in both directions Wednesday night near Gananoque, Ont., following a collision involving several vehicles, according to Ontario Provincial Police.
