Toronto council demands Ford government return land province took for rejected Billy Bishop Airport expansion

This spring, the province passed a law allowing it to take over municipal land for its planned expansion of Billy Bishop Airport. On Wednesday, days after the federal government rejected the province's proposal for the island airport, Toronto city council voted to demand the Ford government give it back.
