Once one of the world's largest coal plants, Nanticoke in Ontario could generate power again

Haldimand County is receiving $500,000 from Ontario Power Generation to help it "explore opportunities" for new energy production at the former Nanticoke coal-fired plant, as the province considers bringing electricity generation back to the site 13 years after it was shut down.
The orphaned polar bear cub who arrived in the Assiniboine Park Zoo from northern Manitoba is "doing very well," a zoo official told Global News.
