Convicted drug trafficker to keep Halifax-area lakeside home, but will pay $240K fine

Gary (Boo) Boudreau, who was targeted by a major cocaine and cannabis investigation, will not lose the million-dollar lakeside home he built partly on the proceeds of crime, but has instead been ordered to pay a $240,000 fine for the portion linked to his illegal profits.
Telecommunications provider Eastlink is warning some customers of a potential data breach that happened in recent days, but it does not believe that credit card or banking information was exposed. The company operates in seven Canadian provinces and Bermuda.
