Doctors at Toronto's SickKids hospital say serious e-scooter injuries involving children are becoming a daily occurrence, with many requiring surgery, intensive care and rehab.
A teenaged boy riding an e-scooter sustained non-life-threatening injuries when he was struck by a vehicle in the ByWard Market on Thursday, Ottawa paramedics say.
