The B.C. Wildfire Service warns an approaching cold front could spark new wildfires and cause existing fires to spread rapidly because of strong winds and possible lightning.

Richard Holder, who overlooks the City of Ottawa’s Rail Construction Program, says the damage was so severe between Moodie and New Orchard that OC Transpo isn’t ruling out the possibility of having to rip up some of the tracks.
