The Oct. 4, 1967, Shag Harbour event is considered Canada's most famous UFO incident. Laurie Wickens became the public face of the mystery, a role he kept until his recent death at 76.
Alex Garneau was an athlete, coach and volunteer involved in many sports throughout Prince George, B.C.. The mother of two was killed when a plane made an emergency landing on a busy road, hitting her vehicle and three others. The investigation is ongoing.
