Health Canada has given the all clear to start a clinical trial on a new Moderna vaccine that targets the form of Ebola blamed for the largest outbreak ever reported in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The fuel excise tax was suspended by the federal government in April, but the temporary measure is set to expire on Labour Day, Sept. 7.

Toronto police have released a photo of a man with extensive facial tattoos who allegedly came up behind a total stranger and stabbed him, unprovoked, at 8 a.m. Friday at Yonge and Bloor, one of the city’s busiest intersections.
