The furniture bank at Matthew House Ottawa usually caters to clients like newcomers and people transitioning into stable housing for the first time. Now, the non-profit has partnered with the City of Ottawa to serve another population — residents recovering from the Canada Day floods.
After more than a week, some Summerland residents are finally walking back through their front doors.
