Ottawa Now - LRT West Extension gets dealt another curveball
August 5, 2026
We are starting to gather a bigger picture of the LRT West Extension, and the damage that was done during the Canada Day downpour. OC Transpo says it could delay a full opening until 2027. Holder said the assessment period is underway, and it’s still early in the process, but it’s looking like not much can be salvaged. Kristy Cameron gathers instant reaction from River Ward councillor Riley Brockington on today's Ottawa Now.
