Trucking company involved in deadly Manitoba crash among 20 carriers 'eliminated' in Alberta

Conquer Transportation, whose truck was in a fatal crash in Brandon, Man., in May — after it had its safety permit pulled in Manitoba — now can't operate from Alberta, the province's transportation minister said Thursday.
Although there are safety concerns coming from transit riders, a study is showing public transportation can improve health with physical activity, well-being, and community.
