U.S. booze might end up back on Canadian shelves, but have we lost the taste for it?

Canada is prepared to lift bans on sales of alcohol from the United States in exchange for U.S. tariff relief, sources told CBC this week. But a recent poll showed nearly 70 per cent of Canadians said they wouldn't buy American booze if it returns to store shelves north of the border.
Canada was 'walking away from a bad deal,' Prime Minister Carney said in a statement, vowing 'dollar-for-dollar' tariffs in response to U.S. President Donald Trump’s levies.
