Two highrise apartment buildings proposed for an industrial property near the Corso Italia O-Train station could bring more than 500 new homes to the area, but the current tenants are worried about what might be lost in the process.

The meeting being arranged by the Quebec premier and CAQ leader for Monday night comes as Canada prepares to impose retaliatory tariffs on a wide range of U.S. goods the following day. The tariffs will range from 15 to 50 per cent and apply to products including dairy, steel, copper and some beauty products.
