Feds announce $100M program to cover 50% of shipping steel in Canada by rail and water

The federal government is pumping $100 million into Canada's steel industry with a new program that will pay for half the costs of transporting Canadian-made steel by ship or by rail within the country.
The researchers are being hired by universities across the country, including the University of British Columbia, McGill and the University of Toronto.
