Severe weather drives record-breaking insurance claims in Sask.

Extreme winds in June caused the most insured loss of any event recorded in the province — $240 million — followed by the northern wildfires last summer. Higher losses can lead to higher premiums, and Canada should take more preventative measures, an expert says.
The BC Coroners Service confirms it is investigating a death related to the crash, but there is no word yet on how many people were on board the plane.
