Toronto police recover thousands of stolen items linked to high-end condo break-ins

Toronto police say they have recovered more than $1-million worth of family heirlooms, jewellery and gold during an investigation into high-end residential break-ins, leading to three arrests and 150 charges.
The Dutch bank owns 612.4 metric tons (675 tons) of gold that was worth 72.2 billion euros (about $83.6 billion) at the end of 2025.
