Long Lake #58 is mourning the death by drug overdose of a third young person in this northwestern Ontario community this year. After demanding action from provincial, federal and policing partners to protect their members, Long Lake #58 and neighbouring Ginoogaming First Nation are now taking matters into their own hands.
Neskantaga First Nation had to be evacuated again after a flood at the community's only nursing station, the northern Ontario community's chief said.
