It has posted a $7.2 million deficit for the first 3 months of 2026. It ran a deficit of $52 million in 2025. Today, speaking at a news conference at Terry Fox Station, Ottawa’s Mayor talked about his plan to fix it. That would be Ottawa’s transit service. He also threw around the idea of a price reduction, intending to hold monthly passes at a reduced $95 rate for the next 4 years. OC Transpo’s General Manager isn’t ruling out a redesign of Moodie Station on the O-Train’s Western Extension. This comes after a Canada Day downpour wreaked a lot of havoc in the area.
