Municipal leaders have gathered at Ottawa’s Rogers Centre for the annual Association of Municipalities of Ontario Conference. Infrastructure is at the top of the agenda, but plenty of questions are also swirling around Ottawa’s LRT. In Hour 2, Kristy Cameron is joined alongside River Ward councillor Riley Brockington. He is representing Canada’s Capital at the AMO Conference. Meantime, we are getting deeper and deeper into back-to-school season, and educational institutions are facing a familiar modern-day test. How can today’s teachers integrate Artificial Intelligence, while also ensuring that their students actually learn? We check in with Tovi Grossman, a Computer Science Professor at the University of Toronto and the co-founder of Toronto-based A.I. startup AXL. Plus, a stunning 21 Eastern Ontario municipalities have only one person (or less) running for the town’s top job. Why does nobody want to be Mayor?
