Toronto Public Health investigating legionnaires’ disease outbreak near downtown core

The disease is caused by legionella bacteria that exists in water sources and can also be found in cooling towers, hot tubs, sprinklers, humidifiers and decorative fountains.
According to the report, Calgary must build between 23,000 and 24,000 total new housing starts annually over the next 10 years to close the gap.
