Countries around the world frequented by sharks use drones to detect when the creatures lurk too close to public beaches, but Nova Scotia officials say they don’t plan on using the technology any time soon. Some beachgoers say they'd like to the technology implemented.
Winnipeg police said the child entered the Red River first and started to drown, prompting their father to follow her. A bystander saved both.
