A Winnipeg team designed a monument that's being unveiled in Ottawa to mark the harm caused by the LGBT Purge.

Alex Garneau was an athlete, coach and volunteer involved in many sports throughout Prince George, B.C.. The mother of two was killed when a plane made an emergency landing on a busy road, hitting her vehicle and three others. The investigation is ongoing.
