Unifor, General Motors reach tentative deal for thousands of Ontario auto workers

Unifor announced a tentative labour deal Saturday for its members at GM's Ontario plants. Union officials said the agreement, if ratified, will improve wages and benefits.
Canadian scientists are purposely spraying an influenza virus into the noses of human volunteers, joining other nations in controlled human infection studies that, while speeding vaccine development in preparation for future pandemics, have also raised ethical uneasiness.
