Why a B.C. wildfire evacuee wants to see an haul of emergency support services

Dawne Young, a retired 911 dispatcher, said her evacuation experience was unsettling. Her neighbour's home was lost in the Bald Range wildfire. She said her family did not all receive the emergency alert, and she was met with lengthy delays trying to register as an evacuee.
My brother told me I had great legs. What incenses me more than the fact he said it, is the fact that I thought it was appropriate commentary, a fair evaluation of my physical attributes. I was 22 years old, he was 28. The thought never dawned on me that eldest brothers shouldn’t think of their sisters in that way. How did I know Steve and I were different?
