Humanoid robots compete for gold in Beijing

For the more than 2,000 robots competing at a major competition in Beijing, winning a gold medal may not be the ultimate goal. Experts say humanoid robots are still mostly used for research, performances and demonstrations, and mass deployment in everyday environments remains some way off.
Fort Good Hope, N.W.T., resident Chloe Dixon was diagnosed with a soft-tissue sarcoma in the summer of last year. While treatment for cancers like hers can impact a person's fertility, a relatively new procedure in Canada is giving Chloe the choice of having children in the future.
