Politicians, dignitaries, Indigenous chiefs and elders gathered in Saskatchewan on Sunday to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the signing of Treaty 6. Those who spoke all agreed that they hope the next 150 years is better than the past.
Parts of Saskatchewan, including its capital, are recovering after a stormy Labour Day long weekend brought more than 100 mm of rain to Regina.
