Saskatoon woman frustrated after feds give WestJet until June 2027 to remove wheelchair weight limit

The Canadian Transportation Agency says WestJet needs to remove its 136-kilogram (300-pound) weight requirement for mobility aids by June 30, 2027. A Saskatoon woman says that's too much time to give the company.
The riding has been considered a safe Liberal seat that saw former cabinet minister Jonathan Wilkinson win for a fourth time in the 2025 federal election.
