Chris Holski fills in for the vacationing Kristy Cameron. If you've delved into the depths of Canada's history, you know that Canada’s Great Lakes have a storied past. For over 100 years, Canada and the United States have peacefully shared them. But today, an interesting development in that lengthy history has surfaced, and it’s coming from the White House. And who else but U.S. President Trump. In a post to Truth Social, Trump is mulling over a name change, altering Lake Ontario to Lake America if he gets his way. Craig Baird from Canadian History EHX joins the program in Hour 1. But first, let’s take a look at why ‘The Donald’ is mad at Canada. The tariffs would vary from 15 percent, to 25 percent, and even 50 percent. However, at the moment, energy-related countermeasures are off the table. Good enough, too far, or too weak? We check in with Dean Wood, the President of Borderworx Logistics. It helps Canadian companies distribute their products within the United States.
