Ottawa’s mayoral race is pretty crowded, as 14 candidates have officially registered for the city’s top job. But over in North Grenville, Nancy Peckford won’t be fighting for any votes in late-October. That’s because nobody is running against her, meaning that she has been acclaimed for another 4-year term. Council today received an update on actions taken since the 2024 Rural Summit to improve services and quality of life in rural Ottawa.
