Canada is set to impose retaliatory tariffs on $27.6 billion worth of U.S. goods starting Sept. 8. For some Canadian businesses, these counter-tariffs stand to drive up the costs of the things they make, which could be another difficult blow for companies at a time when many are already impacted by the ongoing trade war with the United States.
