Ottawa lays out plan for AI data centres as community backlash grows

A.I. Minister Evan Solomon says the government understands Canadians are concerned about noise, electricity and water use of large-scale data centres.
Former RCAF fighter pilot Stephen Fuhr drew mockery from members of the military community after he retired from the Armed Forces in 2009 when he vigorously opposed the purchase of American F-35 aircraft. He's now in charge of Canada's military procurement.
