A man who set a fire in an Ottawa highrise that killed a three-year-old girl in 2024 has been sentenced to life in prison for murder and received another 20 years for the injuries of two others.

A total of 2,996 people were killed in the four crashes at the World Trade Centre, the Pentagon and Shanksville, Penn. and thousands more were injured.
